Two people, according to US authorities related to the militant jihadiströrelsen Islamic state (IS), has been arrested in Texas and California. The men will appear in court on Friday.
One of the detainees is reported to have fled from Syria to the US in 2012, then to have traveled back to Syria the following year to contend for various extremist groups, including al-Qaeda Linked Ansar al-Islam. Since then, the Iraqi faction of the group as a terrorist by the UN and the US, connected to IS.
