The President of Ukraine had a telephone conversation with German Chancellor and French President

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande.
Ukrainian President emphasized the inadmissibility of violation of ceasefire by Russian militants and non-admission of the OSCE on objects in the occupied territories and uncontrolled segment of the Ukrainian-Russian border.


They discussed the next steps for implementation of Minsk agreements, including coordination modalities of the local elections in some regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and the preparation of Ukraine to restore full control over the border.
The President of Ukraine stressed the importance of attachment of all steps provided Minsk agreements to specific dates in 2016 due to the disruption of Russia fulfill its obligations.
Petro Poroshenko, Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande agreed to continue contacts next week.
President Poroshenko expressed his condolences over the death of Chancellor Merkel German citizens as a result of the terrorist attack in Istanbul.
